Welcome!

We are the Akron-Canton, Ohio local chapter of Transplant Recipients International Organization. We have a support meeting every month and would love for you to join us!

Akron-Canton TRIO is a 501(c)3 non-profit support/information group for those who have received a transplant, their families and support people, those waiting for a transplant, health care professionals, living donors, and donor families. All are welcome.

We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at the North Canton Medical Foundation Educational Building from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. All meetings are free and you do not have to be a member to attend.

If you have a transplant, are on a waiting list, think you may qualify for a transplant, are an organ donor or a member of a donor’s family, or friends/family/support person for any of the above or are simply interested in the transplant process, you are invited to join us.

Meetings begin at 6:30 pm with a pot luck meal, followed by announcements, a movie or a speaker, finishing with a round table discussion.

From I-77, use exit 111 to North Canton, Canal Fulton, Drive east on Portage towards North Canton to Whipple, then turn right (south) on Whipple. Go to the traffic light on Glenwood Ave, turn left (east) on Glenwood then turn right (south) at the North Canton Medical Foundation sign. Drive through the Aultman parking lot to the stop sign, turn left and travel to the top of the hill.

The Educational Building is on the left past Davies Pharmacy.
